Become a key player in Macquarie's Enterprise Technology team in Gurugram, contributing to the development and delivery of exceptional digital experiences across our organisation. As a Planning Analytics (TM1) Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in driving data-driven insights and implementing innovative financial solutions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will play a key role in participating in the design and implementation of innovative financial solutions to enhance our data engineering capabilities. You will utilise TM1, Python, Git, and AWS to assist in the development of financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting models. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Finance teams to support the creation of customized TM1 models that meet our needs.

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in TM1/Planning Analytics, including system configuration, model building, and report/dashboard development.
  • Strong skills in TM1 technical aspects, such as Rules and TI coding, security setup, and report development. Good knowledge of Python, Shell scripts, VBA, and advanced MS Excel.
  • Experience with SQL queries, data modeling, ETL pipeline construction, and data warehousing. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS (S3, EC2, etc.), MS Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Proven ability to work within Scrum teams and an understanding of Agile methodologies, TM1Py, REST API, and other integration tools like Cloud Pak for Integration/Alteryx.
