Join our Technology team as a Lead/Senior Data Engineer, building a leading data and analytics applications. We partner and build batch and real-time analytics solutions for our business.

In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative team, which will provide a unique opportunity to expand your skills in big data technology stack. You will have exposure to working on our cloud technologies, and you will have ownership and access to the Macquarie data engineering tech stack while learning and growing your skills and expertise.

What you offer

• Strong understanding of Data & Analytics concepts and technologies, including data lakes, Data Pipelines, visualization, and reporting, with a focus on creating business value
• Proficiency in big data technologies including AWS Redshift, Kubernetes cluster, Spark, Python, complex SQL, DBT, Airflow & Dataiku
• Deep knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Metadata Management best practice
• Strong data analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the capability to handle and take ownership of critical issues until resolution
• Customer-focused with a 'service first' mentality and excellent communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues.
