Join our Risk Management Group as a key member of the compliance team in Korea and play an important role supporting compliance matters within our Asset Management and Securities businesses.

What role will you play?

You will provide support to the team by reviewing, testing and monitoring data relevant to the company’s internal control and compliance risks. In addition, you will help design and implement best practice for compliance and audit processes and controls to manage regulatory and compliance risk.

The position entails active involvement in the creation, management and continuous improvement of compliance-related documentation, reports and systems. This includes the execution of various compliance monitoring activities, such as overseeing personal investments, monitoring gifts and entertainment and managing office access.

You will also be involved in the creation and delivery of compliance training materials, as well as conducting training sessions to ensure the organisation's compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the role requires keeping abreast of regulatory changes and effectively communicating these changes to appropriate stakeholders.

The implementation of necessary internal compliance processes, along with the review of internal and external materials from a compliance perspective, is also a key part of the job. Furthermore, you will participate in both regional and global projects or initiatives aimed at strengthening the organisation's compliance framework.

What you offer

  • Previous regulatory compliance or audit experience would be advantageous
  • Good organisational skills with the capability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and experience in project and risk management methodologies and tools
  • Experience in a data analytics/reporting/management information role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI, Alteryx, Cognos, SharePoint development would be a benefit.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
