Join our Data Breach Response team who are responsible for managing the initial assessment, conducting investigations, and coordinating the response to incidents involving the loss, misuse, or mishandling of Macquarie's information assets. You will work as part of a global team with colleagues based in Sydney and Houston.

This is a 12-month contract role.

What role will you play?

As a well-rounded analyst, you will partner with internal Privacy, Risk and Compliance to provide world-class incident response to managing threats in Macquarie’s digital environment. Coordinating with operations and business teams around the globe, you will provide direction and support during active data handling issues, data loss incidents, process lifecycle maintenance and reporting. Working alongside all Macquarie groups in a diverse team across multiple offices around the globe, you will act to ensure that issues relating to Macquarie’s data are promptly remediated.

What you offer

• Previous experience working in a risk or control function, compliance, audit, assurance or similar with some familiarity of general data protection regulations
• Strong analysis experience – analysing information, probing for clarity, producing solutions, making judgments, thinking systemically
• Ability to analyse the trend and manage feedback loop on internal controls
• Ability to work as part of a seamless global team across multiple countries, cultures and time zones
• Experience in the operations of a financial services organisation is preferrable
