Join our Macquarie Market Data team responsible for the end-to-end procurement and management of Market Data across Macquarie Group. The team is a fast-paced global team that provides expertise and guidance on the procurement of market data across Macquarie.

What role will you play?

You will be providing advice and analysis on market data products, interpreting and defining business requirements as well as analysing more cost-effective ways to use data across the enterprise. Your relationship building skills will be utilized as you effectively interact with business stakeholders, operations and technology teams as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with our market data suppliers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for matching the best product to user needs, ensuring contracts are managed and reviewed effectively, validating commercial frameworks, evaluating supplier product offerings, ensuring compliance with contracts terms and presenting commercial outcomes to business stakeholders.

What you offer

  • 3 years plus of relevant procurement/market data experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with or for market data vendors would be beneficial
  • Negotiation skills and relationship management experience
  • Experience of interpreting contractual and commercial terms, ideally from a procurement or sales perspective
