What role will you play?

You will be a key member of the Regulatory Risk team, focusing on implementation of key regulatory changes across the Americas region and Macquarie business lines. You will be involved in identifying, tracking and advising on existing/new regulatory developments, including assessing impact, communicating and advising on changes to the businesses and the support divisions. You will assist with the enhancement and implementation of our regional Compliance program as well as compliance reporting, working on change projects or new business initiatives, and responding to internal and external information requests.

  • Previous post-admission experience gained within a private law practice or in-house within a Financial Services firm; or alternatively a strong regulatory compliance, investigation or audit experience gained within a financial services, legal or regulatory environment, demonstrating solid understanding of the Americas regulatory environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and a demonstrated ability to manage and advise on regulatory projects
  • Solutions-focused and highly detail-oriented mindset, even when working under tight deadlines.
Salary range for this position: $155,000- $195,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
