What role will you play?

In this role, you will be a key member of the Regulatory Risk team, focusing on regulator engagement and enhancing our key regional compliance programs while also being responsible for compliance reporting to senior stakeholders, including oversight of breaches and issues that arise. Your role will focus on testing and governance of Macquarie’s Representative Office, including advising internal stakeholders on regulatory matters as well as the maintenance of compliance manuals. You will run the compliance testing program, including collaboration with stakeholders within Compliance, Operations and the business. You will also manage regulatory inquiries, regulatory examinations and other regulatory requests, requiring sharp communication and analytical skills.

  • 4-6 years of previous experience gained at a financial institution
  • Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree; law degree highly preferred
  • Possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a solutions-focused and highly detail-oriented mind, even when working under tight deadlines.
Salary range for this position: $136,000- $150,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
