What role will you play?

As a Public Finance Institutions Relationship Manager / Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Macquarie’s collaboration with public and multi-lateral finance institutions like the World Bank, the European Investment Bank and the United Nations Green Climate Fund. Your efforts will focus on understanding these institutions' priorities and financing solutions across various sectors and geographies, identifying synergies, and fostering potential areas for collaboration. This role involves working closely with our global business units, the Climate Intelligence Unit and the Corporate Affairs teams, contributing to our to invest in climate solutions and in emerging markets.

What you offer

• A Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with significant experience (at least 5 years) preferably within public or private finance institutions active in emerging markets and climate solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, summarising and quantitative reasoning skills.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to manipulate, analyse, and present data effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and spoken), with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to quickly learn, pay attention to detail, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work in or relocate to a Macquarie office.
