What role will you play?

Through interacting with our clients and broad internal engagement you will assess and analyze new transaction opportunities, assist with the preparation of term sheets and pitch decks, build financial models and conduct counterparty credit underwritings. You will ensure our transactions are well structured, meet Macquarie’s risk appetite and deliver appropriate returns. You will demonstrate your knowledge of credit structuring and financial analysis to the composition of financial forecasts, calculation of return metrics and consideration of legal and regulatory implications.
Salary range for this position: $110,000 - $160,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

- 2 to 5 years’ experience in transaction structuring and credit underwriting, leading transaction credit and/or investment approvals and understanding of bank funding and capital models
- Have an undergraduate degree, in finance, economics, engineering or science
- Be highly numerate, with well-developed modelling skills and an understanding of financial statements and accounting
- Be adept at problem solving and critical reasoning and have the ability to think creatively while exploring optimal outcomes for customers and Macquarie
- Have experience in researching, analyzing, and reporting in a clear and concise manner to senior staff.
