Join our Financial Management and People Enablement Group’s Data Governance Office who play a key role in building data management maturity and delivering our Group Data Strategy by leveraging high quality data to drive superior decision-making, advice and solutions.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Manager, you will lead the development and execution of data management strategies, establish and embed frameworks, processes and policies, and drive stakeholder engagement to integrate data management practices across the Group.
You will be working with subject matter experts at all levels providing expert advice and guidance for the implementation and management of data governance activities. Partnering with the Enterprise Data Office, Divisional Data Offices, senior leadership, Groups framework owners, you will provide expertise in driving data governance program development and implementation, integrating best practice approaches, guidance and advice for the assessment of data risk and controls. In addition, you will ensure uniformity in data governance and management practices to contribute to a unified perspective on data risk.


What you offer

  • Previous experience in data management, data governance, risk or consulting within the financial services or markets sector.
  • Tertiary degree in a related discipline, with the ability to problem solve, ensure alignment with our data strategy. Track record of successful data governance program implementation, including detailed operational level guidance.
  • Serve as a data management expert, liaising with other Groups or Framework and policy owners.
  • People leadership experience, managing effective and engaged teams.
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, with a track record of effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders.
  • A curious and challenging mindset and a track record of complex framework implementation.
