What role will you play?

As a returner, you will receive training, hands-on work experience, group coaching and mentoring to set you up for success. This program enables you to work on projects that match your expertise and interests, potentially leading to a full-time role with Macquarie.

We have opportunities in the following teams:
  • Group Treasury is responsible for capital and funding, liquidity and interest rate risk management of Macquarie’s balance sheet. The team also manages Macquarie’s liquid asset portfolio and is responsible for managing debt investor, rating agency and banking relationships. 
  • Finance provides financial management and control, regulatory reporting and business advisory services. Finance also has dedicated teams supporting Macquarie’s operating groups. 
  • Central supports all FMG functions globally and has responsibility for FMG’s data hub and data management, FMG communications and learning and development, internal FMG financial reporting and budgeting, and facilitates FMG’s projects and change.

What you offer

  • Had a voluntary career break of at least two years. 
  • A professional qualification relevant to the role you are applying for. 
  • Previous work experience with relevant and transferable skills for the role. 
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn. 
  • Strong adherence to timelines and attention to detail.
