Join our Global Financial Crime Risk Policy and Program Governance team based in Sydney who play a key role in enhancing, maintaining and operating the systems that enable effective governance across policies, standards and risk framework documentation.

What role will you play?

As a Manager, you will be supporting the governance structures that enable effective management of Financial Crime Risk policies, standards and other documentation.

You will establish and maintain processes, systems and controls to ensure documents remain current, clear and fit for purpose and advise the broader Financial Crime team of policy governance requirements when updating or creating new documents.

In addition, you will draft and maintain governance-related artefacts, draft papers and issue reporting to senior management committees and forums to provide oversight across the status of the document inventory, as well as delivering enhancements to policy management processes through leveraging digital products and new technologies.

What you offer

  • Prior experience in a similar role gained either the Banking and Financial Services Industry or Professional Services.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in Financial Crime Risk policies and frameworks, including policy drafting is desirable, but not essential

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
