Join the team as an experienced Director to build out and manage our technology portfolio of regulatory response work in Asia, where you will be working in collaboration with the technology and cyber divisions as well as the Technology Business Operational Risk Management team to ensure regional compliance.

Covering multiple businesses in a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic trading environment, your role will involve working closely with the regulatory teams, compliance and senior technology management in the Asia region to unify regulatory response activity.

A secondary (non-regulatory) aspect of the role will entail leaning into new Asia based projects, where appropriate, and working with the service owners to deliver change.

What role will you play?

You will be involved in portfolio structuring, management and reporting as well as have oversight of programs and execution of various projects. You will assist to define strategy and communication plans across the broader Commodities and Global Markets Asia regional regulatory remit.

In addition, you will undertake management responsibilities which may include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, identifying and managing risks, engaging with senior stakeholders across business and technology and helping to manage portfolio finances.

What you offer

  • 15+ years’ project/business management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working on regulatory change and directly engaging with regulators
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a high degree of structure and organisation with good commercial acumen and the ability to reprioritise and direct others in a rapidly changing environment.
  • A tertiary degree in IT or similar field
  • Domain knowledge of Investment Banking with additional knowledge of cash equities, derivatives or commodities an advantage.
