Join the Macquarie Market Data team responsible for the end-to-end procurement and management of Market Data across Macquarie Group. Based in Philadelphia or New York, you will be part of our fast-paced global team, providing expertise and guidance on the procurement of market data across the group.

What role will you play?

You will be providing advice and analysis on market data products, interpreting and defining business requirements as well as analysing more cost-effective ways to use data across the enterprise. Your relationship building skills will be utilized as you effectively interact with business stakeholders, operations and technology teams as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with our market data suppliers. Additionally, you will be responsible for matching the best product to user needs, ensuring contracts are managed and reviewed effectively, validating commercial frameworks, evaluating supplier product offerings, ensuring compliance with contracts terms and presenting commercial outcomes to business stakeholders.

What you offer

  • 10 years of relevant procurement/market data experience in the financial services industry as well as experience working with or for market data vendors such as Refinitiv (LSEG), Bloomberg and FactSet and other market data vendors.
  • Demand management skills, maintaining an understanding of end user requirements, product trials/replacements, market data reviews, and product licensing, as well as negotiation skills and relationship management experience
  • Project management experience with product integrations, upgrades, trials, displacements, onboarding of new services, reviews, and improving internal processes
  • Experience of interpreting contractual and commercial terms, ideally from a procurement or sales perspective, and the subsequent procurement management lifecycle
  • Experience working with Asset Management datasets is advantageous.
