What role will you play?

As the Global Head of Technology for Non-Financial Risk, you will work closely with senior leaders in Compliance, Financial Crime, Internal Audit, Operational Risk, and Prudential Risk to identify technology needs and challenges, providing strategic guidance to achieve impactful business outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in promoting operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and technological innovation within our organisation.

In alignment with our technology architecture, you will lead the global technology strategy for Non-Financial Risk, aligning it with Macquarie's business goals and regulatory obligations. You will develop and oversee the implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of non-financial risk management practices.

What you offer

  • Proven experience in executive-level management in Technology leadership roles within the financial services industry, either aligned to Risk Divisions or a strong focus on risk management.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing technology strategies that support non-financial risk management and compliance objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge of non-financial risk management frameworks, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing offshore technology teams including inhouse engineering teams and external vendor teams.
  • Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and data management technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring change and innovation across a global organisation.
