Join our Equity Finance team as a data analyst and execute our data, analytics and reporting strategy across the Equity Finance sales and trading functions. You will be responsible for delivering insights and reporting that inform decision making and support the execution of the business’s strategic objectives. Sitting on the trading desk, you will work directly with traders, salespeople and management and have direct exposure to our business activities and the Asia Pacific equity markets.

From requirements gathering, to data integration and design, preparation and visualisation, you will lead the team in embedding business intelligence practices across the business that enhance operational efficiency and support our strategic goals. As an excellent communicator and confident influencer working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and data owners, you will play a key role in driving cross functional collaboration and shared learnings, identifying strategic opportunities that leverage data driven insights and shaping innovative data analytics to support and guide decision making across the business.

What you offer

• 3+ years’ experience of programming and data visualisation with Python and SQL
• Experience in data modelling and developing business intelligence insights with a core focus on end-user consumption and the importance of strong data visualization and design principles
• Strategic analysis experience and the ability to work with ambiguity and changing priorities together with proven multi-tasking skills to manage conflicting priorities to deliver within deadlines
• A growth mindset and continuous improvement behaviours through previous proven experience
• Experience working in a financial services and/or technology company is an advantage.
