We have an exciting career development opportunity to step into a leadership role managing a team of Executive Assistants across the Macquarie Capital business. You will work closely with the Global Head of Admin Management and regional COOs to ensure the business is well supported. You will also have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders within a high calibre revenue generating business.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for partnering with the recruitment team to manage the recruitment process for open Executive Assistant roles, lead performance review conversations and manage the year-end process. You will proactively manage team allocations, ensure workloads are fair and manageable, and advocate for the Macquarie Capital Executive Assistant community across central Macquarie functions such as Guest Relations, Travel, and IT.

Furthermore, you will manage senior stakeholder relationships by partnering with senior leaders to ensure their teams are well supported. You will work with the Global Admin team lead and Human Resources to identify any areas for training and development required for your team and ensure continuous improvement and professional growth of your team members is available.

What you offer

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant with good people management skills
  • Good judgment, excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and navigate conflicting requirements will enable you to effectively manage and deliver results
  • Ability to work autonomously and have a proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite.
