What role will you play?

As a Platform Architect, you will lead and contribute to large-scale projects, by designing and ensuring the quality of architecture and engineering from initial concept to implementation. You will design and build clean, efficient, robust, secure and performant omni-channel digital solutions that deliver to our business and our future state architecture, as a team owning the solution end to end.

You will share responsibility towards improving quality and contribute to new ideas and drive outcomes. In addition, you will engage with business heads to understand and influence the business and technology strategies while actively keep your knowledge of emerging technologies up to date.


What you offer

  • Proven software engineering experience in designing, implementing, and managing digital omni-channel financial service solutions and working with both the digital teams and backend teams to drive the overall outcome.
  • Highly converse with cloud-based integration and API strategies and implementations, with experience in managing and optimising technology infrastructure.
  • Relevant experience leading software implementation and a solid understanding of how to drive modern engineering practices while fostering collaboration including cybersecurity and fraud teams.
  • Participate in architecture assurance of solution designs in your domain and assist with escalation of exceptions as required. 
  • Knowledge of solution and data architecture frameworks in digital, modelling tools and data security principles.
  • Contribute to building a strong digital architecture community and actively participate in the improvement of the broader architecture and engineering practice in Banking and Financial Services.
  • A Financial Services or FinTech background is highly desirable however we are open to candidates from other consumer-facing sectors.
