Join the Group Treasury Operations team within the wider global Corporate Operations Group. Be part of a high-performing and collaborative team responsible for managing the global Funding, Nostro & Liquidity operations for Macquarie Group.

What role will you play?

Reporting directly to the Head of Global Funding Operations, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and transformational change, whilst leading people, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance within the broader regulatory landscape.

Your responsibilities include promoting a culture of operational efficiency in service delivery to both internal and external customers, leveraging technology and data.

Additionally, you will champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, creating an environment where all team members feel valued and can thrive.

What you offer

  • Senior leadership experience in operations, with a preference for treasury, liquidity and/or debt securities expertise. Knowledge of funding, derivatives, and other financial products is seen as beneficial.
  • Exceptional people management experience with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams, focusing on establishing global operating models.
  • Proven experience in building strong partnerships with key stakeholders across various levels and functions, complemented by strong communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in project management, with an innovative and transformational mindset, ready to challenge the status quo and drive strategic change.
  • Experience in leveraging data analytics and AI tools to build dashboards, manage operational risks, and identify commercial and customer opportunities.
