Our Finance and Tax Data team in Sydney sets the division’s data strategy and works with global teams to embed better practices around data architecture, operations and risk management.

What role will you play?

As a Finance professional with a passion for data and transformation, you will play a critical role in defining the target state data architecture and operating model for Finance. This will require you to work closely with business stakeholder to understand the current state systems, processes, initiatives, challenges and dependencies and the actions required to deliver towards the target state. You will also partner with Finance teams to support the optimisation of data processes, facilitate increased business insights, enhance data quality and reduce data risks and costs.

What you offer

  • Finance professional with a passion for data and how it is used
  • Tertiary degree in Business/Commerce and 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in the financial services or investment banking industry
  • Conceptual knowledge of data architecture, systems and supporting processes.
  • Commercial experience with at least one of the following technologies will be viewed favourably: Power BI, Alteryx or other analytical and automation tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from non-technical teams
  • Tenacity, agility and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.
