Our Client Engagement and Protection team within Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Marketing team is responsible for engaging our clients on topics that impact their financial wellbeing while building ongoing trust and loyalty with our brand. The client engagement function is focused on delivering best-in-class communications that provide useful and relevant information about our products and services, latest content and insights and timely updates to support and enable their financial success. 

This is a 12 month contract role.

What role will you play?

This role will see you deliver communication excellence through the output of high quality, branded, client-focussed written communications for a range of financial products and services, across a variety of mediums including email, digital channels and multimedia formats such as video. In collaboration with ecosystem stakeholders, you will design and write communications that are engaging, compelling and consistent, that also promote and enhance our strategy.

You will act as a brand advocate in everything you do by applying our brand personality and tone of voice consistently across all our channels. You will take every project or communication as an opportunity to uplift the client experience and the way our customers engage with and think about our brand.

You will quickly develop and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the channel and broader business through skill, influence, and strategic thinking. You will have a deep understanding of our key priorities to deliver excellence in our communication strategies and plans, and leverage data and insights to inform recommendations around the best way to engage with our clients, and working in an agile way.

What you offer

  • 5+ years’ experience within a similar role, supporting and delivering omni-channel marketing campaigns, with a proven background in copywriting, designing and writing client communications with all sentiments (negative, positive, neutral)
  • Proactive and strategic approach to communications delivery with a strong action bias
  • Demonstrated project management capability, and experience working in large teams to deliver an outcome or change customer behaviour
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to build effective and constructive relationships.
