Our team of Solution and Data Architects is dedicated to supporting the Risk Management Group across both financial and non-financial risk areas. We specialise in implementing data frameworks designed at the enterprise level that ensure accurate risk assessment, efficient data processing, and insightful analytics. By leveraging advanced technologies and best practices, we help the Risk Management Group mitigate risks, enhance decision-making, and maintain regulatory compliance.

What role will you play?

As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in embedding data frameworks and principles into our risk technology solutioning processes. You will work closely with our risk management business and data teams across both financial and non-financial risk areas to drive the Risk Management Group's data strategy and support our change programs. Your responsibilities will include designing comprehensive data models, developing data architecture frameworks, and ensuring data governance to support risk management and compliance initiatives.

What you offer

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or similar role with strong expertise in data modelling techniques and tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner).
  • In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, data governance, and data management best practices, along with proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., ETL, OLAP, Big Data) and experience with big data ecosystems and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining data integrity, security, and privacy, particularly in the context of risk management.
