What role will you play?

As an experienced Lead Data Engineer, you will lead our Martech epics and transform our Martech platform. You will guide our team of data engineers, coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to enhance platform efficiency. Your role will involve designing, developing, and conducting peer code reviews, as well as developing engineering solutions using dev-ops and configuration-driven frameworks.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of enterprise engineering experience working in a mature cloud environment, preferably in GCP.
  • Strong Data Architecture expertise in using different techniques for building optimized Data models, ERD and schemas by translating business needs.
  • Solid experience in authoring complex SQL queries, CTEs, Data Definition Language (DDL) and performance optimizations
  • Proven experience in building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses on GCP using services such as BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Functions, and GCS.
  • Strong hands-on coding ability in Python, with experience in developing code-based ETL/ELT data pipelines and performance-optimised data modelling.
  • Experience with working on real-time data streaming services like Pub/Sub or Kafka, and familiarity with orchestrating data pipeline workflows using Dataform.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance areas such as data lineage, technical metadata, data quality, and reconciliation, with the ability to drive platform efficiency by extending our automation and AI capabilities.
