What role will you play?

In this role, you’ll partner with Macquarie Capital and Technology team to ensure that Technology Risk is managed effectively, in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies.

You will use your strong stakeholder management skills to drive a strong, proactive risk culture and a clear understanding of the risk framework.

You will report to the Group Head of Technology Risk, part of the Line 1 Risk team. You will utilise your prior experience to work with stakeholders at all levels. You will ensure ongoing Operational Risk Management, which could include conducting risk assessments over new technology proposed as part of a new product launch, control assurance review, issue and action closure validation, and providing risk input to material changes.

  • Proven experience within a Technology Operational Risk leadership role gained within financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of Risk framework or Operational experience across technology supporting an Equities trading business and back-office functions is preferred.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and strong leadership skills.
  • Strong Risk and Controls Mindset to drive the end to end risk management, partnering with Business Risk Partners.
