Join our Global Trade Support Services team that supports Macquarie Capital Cash Equities, front and back office, Equity Derivatives Trading and Research.

What role will you play?

You will provide front-to-back Trading Desk trade support whilst also contributing to the provision of Operational technical support across the Global Equities platform estate at Macquarie; ensuring the technical delivery of key Operational projects and initiatives involving analysis, design and deployment; and provide regular updates regarding Equities Operational changes to Macquarie business stakeholders, users and the wider Technology Enterprise team.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and deliver prompt responses to queries from the business. and will support key cash execution platforms including vendor products Instinet Newport, SYN and other large scale, internal systems. Additionally, you will be responding to inquiries, escalations, and establishing partnerships with stakeholders, while coordinating a variety of projects in a highly operational and regulated environment.

Salary range for this position: $125,000-175,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in a previous Front/Back Office Support role
  • Experience working with execution & trading platforms – exposure to Instinet Newport would be highly regarded
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server, Unix and SQL (both in a physical and Cloud environment)
  • Experience of order lifecycles to support Trading products
  • Familiar with Electronic Execution (Algorithmic & DMA trading) and FIX protocol
