Join our Central Technology Team in an opportunity to lead and support strategic project delivery and oversight as an experienced and innovative Technology Strategy & Operations Delivery Lead.

What role will you play?

As a senior leader in the Technology CIO function, you will be tasked with oversight of critical project and operational deliverables. You will drive robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for projects, using your expertise in identifying cost efficiencies and operational improvements, optimising resource allocation to enhance overall business performance. 

As a strategic and detail-oriented professional, you will lead executive reporting and stakeholder management for our initiatives. Ensuring high-quality, data-driven insights in executive reports, providing clarity on progress and strategic positioning. Acting as the primary liaison between the Business Management and key stakeholders—including the COO, CIO and business heads—you will facilitate structured packs communication, ensuring alignment and understanding of strategic priorities across the function.

Additionally, you will oversee governance and risk management our Technology projects. This will see you implementing and refining governance structures to ensure accountability and effective tracking of deliverables. Partnering with operations, risk, finance, and technology teams, you will drive risk awareness and ensure seamless execution.

What you offer

  • At least 10 years’ experience in Projects, Operations or Business Management, including direct experience in financial and budget management
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, influence and consult on project delivery plans that algin with business objectives and drive sustainable results
  • Proven expertise with Project Management disciplines including strategic planning, securing stakeholder commitment, best practice Ways of Working, granular tracking and timely blocker removal.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing agile ways of working and utilizing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive team alignment, prioritize tasks, and achieve strategic goals efficiently
  • Proficiency in crafting and delivering executive-level presentations that are not only compelling but also easily digestible, facilitating well-informed decision-making among senior leaders
