Our People and Culture Workforce Insights team leverages people data and insights to optimise the employee experience and drive business value across Macquarie. We are committed to modernising our technology and data landscape, migrating our people data to AWS cloud, and building a central data modeling and analytics capability to support various reporting and analytical use cases.

What role will you play?

As a People and Culture Data Steward, you will manage our People and Culture data under governance, contributing to our end-to-end people and culture data transformation journey. You will support the migration of our people data to AWS cloud, ensure our data solutions are fit for purpose, and work with the broader People and Culture teams to address data needs and bring under governance. Additionally, you will promote data enablement and literacy within People and Culture through training and support.

What you offer

  • 5+ years’ experience in data and analytics function or business analysis experience
  • Ability to understand data and its business use cases, optional skills in relational databases, SQL, and AWS Redshift.
  • Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, with the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in creating governance practices and standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
