This role is supporting Macquarie Asset Management in its digital transformation of portfolio construction and monitoring. We are looking to enable these capabilities for both the Reinsurance and Alternatives to Wealth products which are bringing together both private and public asset classes for the first time in Macquarie Asset Management. The challenge is to put in place tooling and processes which connect to the various best-in-class platforms for each asset class, to enable timely and optimal decision making in construction and monitoring.

What role will you play?

  • Working closely with a variety of stakeholders in the business teams, third party providers and other digital solutions teams within MAM from design through to implementation.
  • Be a key part of the team in understanding and documenting the solutions with a focus on commercials, market trends and changes, and employee experiences.
  • A key point of contact to identify the digital solutions requirements for the Tech development team, working closely with Data Managers, Engineers and Scrum masters.
  • Assist the identification and management of the digital solutions backlog, assist prioritisation and delivery, which will include managing the budget and outcome metrics.
  • Assisting the broader team to find ongoing improvements and efficiencies in the business and working closely with them to see change through to implementation.

What you offer

  • Approximately 2- 5 years experience, with a background in financial or business analytics
  • Can effectively manage deadlines, deal with a multitude of different tasks concurrently and prioritise appropriately
  • Be a great communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a preference to working in a dynamic cross-discipline team environment
  • Be structured and coordinated in your approach to business analysis and have an analytical mindset with a natural affinity to critical problem solving
  • An agile mindset to drive data driven decisions, continuously improve and deliver business value and experience with customer facing digital products/knowledge of financial services
