We have an exciting opportunity to join our Tax Reporting team based in Gurugram working closely with counterparts globally. Our team is responsible for the completion of varied tax compliances and payments, (including tax office correspondence) accounting, reconciliations and other related processes for the entities with the Macquarie Group.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will focus on direct tax compliances, accounting, and reporting requirements in the Asia region, primarily Singapore. You will prepare, review, and file direct tax returns, manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and compliance deadlines while liaising with internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise to improve services, processes, and systems, and staying updated on tax requirements and changes in tax laws.

What you offer

• A recently qualified Chartered Accountant (November 2024 batch);
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in a global and virtual team whilst maintaining cross-border relationships;
• Experience with tax reporting and financial systems; and
• Background with the big 4 tax firms and experience in taxation within a shared services environment or financial services are advantageous.
