Join our Customer Intelligence Engine (CIE) Technology team and help us build the best technology business in financial services. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of talented engineers in developing the next generation Customer Intelligence Engine.

What role will you play?

As a Software Engineer, you will build and maintain data services and data pipelines using industry best practices. You will have the opportunity to learn about the business, build and maintain high quality software in a DevOps manner, automate its testing and delivery and ensure high code quality, testing and security standards are met.

In this role, you will identify customer impacts when making technical decisions, and regularly conduct respectful and meaningful code reviews that ensure code maintainability. In addition, you will participate in incidence management, team roster activities and have ownership on issues raised.

What you offer

  • Experience leading a feature from inception to production
  • Strong background in Java; any other language is also a plus
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of managing data including reconciliations, operations, data governance, extraction with CDC
  • Experience tackling complex bug fixes
  • Solid knowledge in software design, object orientation
  • Computer science education or equivalent experience
  • ElasticSearch experience is a plus.
