Join our Equities Operations team, which is a vital component of the broader Corporate Operations Group at Macquarie Capital supporting the Equities trading business. In collaboration with other groups, the team is pivotal in managing the post-trade life cycle controls for equities trading across global markets.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

In this leadership role, your focus will be on Commission Sharing and Accounts Receivable operations, which support the commission sharing business within Macquarie Capital trading, where clients utilise Macquarie’s access to global markets for equities execution and share commission brokerage with research providers. You will actively engage with traders, desk heads, business managers, external clients, vendors and multiple stakeholders within the Corporate Operations Group.

In addition, you will also drive process transformation to bolster controls, enhance efficiencies and improve client experiences and handle internal and external stakeholder management, serving as a senior point of escalation.

• A deep understanding of post-trade equities operations, whether in a middle office or settlements capacity
• Comprehensive knowledge of control and risk frameworks within banking operations
• The ability to lead and support team growth as a strong team player
• Proficient communication and presentation skills with experience managing senior stakeholders
• A proven track record in driving and managing change to achieve successful outcomes with the capability to navigate challenging scenarios and identify solutions
• Experience in commission sharing and/or accounts receivable will be an advantage.
