Join our Compliance team in Bangkok as a Compliance Officer, reporting into Macquarie’s Head of Thailand Compliance.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be involved in the day-to-day management of compliance matters for the Thailand business, including liaising with business stakeholders to provide guidance on Compliance matters, coordinating Department Head meetings, compliance administrative tasks and working with other teams on cross-team initiatives.

You will also assist in maintaining productive relationships with Thailand regulators as well as monitoring and reporting on any changes in regulation, including reviewing reports submitted to regulators, liaising with other departments to ensure that filings are submitted ahead of due dates and confirming that reporting information is complete and accurate.

In addition, you will collaborate with other senior stakeholder across the Asia region and assist with the delivery of global and regional Compliance framework requirements, and local regulator expectations and requirements, including reporting, policies and procedures and compliance monitoring plans, to the extent permissible in each location.

  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and interpret requirements and change
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills for developing relationships across various stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis, with relevant experience in workflow automation and technology-based solutions
  • A great team player who can collaborate effectively with others, while also being able to self-motivate and work independently
  • Previous regulatory or risk management experience gained working at financial services organisations or financial services regulators.
