What role will you play?

In this role based in Sydney, you will lead a team of social media experts tasked with telling the Macquarie story through our social channels, while driving Macquarie’s social media strategy, planning and execution at a global, regional and market level. Commercially driven and results focused, you will be responsible for delivering Macquarie’s social media program across organic and paid activities, community management, advocacy and Alumni. As a leader, you will be focused on empowering your team to innovate, leverage data and analytics to influence business decision-making, and deliver measurable return on investment.

What you offer

  • 7+ years of experience within a similar role
  • Experience leading and empowering a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills and a client-driven approach.
  • Experience with social media technologies – preferably Sprinklr.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders in their decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to think and react quickly with careful judgement when presented with uncertainty or change.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a desire to drive business outcomes.
