Our Corporate Operations Group provides vital support to all areas of Macquarie, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency. Working within our dynamic team, you'll be part of an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Our Regulatory Operations team in London is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of transaction reporting across the EMEA region, supporting our commodities and global markets business.

Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles. This role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

As a Regulatory Operations Executive, your primary focus will be monitoring and clearing exceptions and producing management reporting. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business, compliance, legal, and technology teams. Additionally, you will work on continuous improvement initiatives for our processes and apply your strong risk mindset to identify and escalate issues. This is a fixed term role for 18 months.

What you offer

  • A strategic mindset with a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory environments and market dynamics
  • 3+ years' experience in regulatory operations is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail working in a problem solving environment.
  • Knowledge of REMIT (Regulation on Market Integrity and Transparency)
  • Familiarity using large data sets and tools like Alteryx.
  • The ability to work effectively both within a global team and independently, managing multiple priorities with excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across diverse project teams
  • A creative and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to high-quality client service
