Join our data management and analytics team as a Data/Business Analyst and help with the delivery of our roadmap for the coming year and beyond. The team sits within the Identity and Cybersecurity Division, which is responsible for data, metrics and reporting across Privilege Access Management.

What role will you play?

Working with diverse stakeholders in technology, operational risk and Macquarie’s business operations, you will define and document data and reporting requirements and perform data analysis to ensure appropriate reporting and alignment in Cybersecurity Governance and Operational Reports. 

You will also be responsible for identifying process gaps and opportunities for enhancements of processes and controls. You will design and build reports and dashboards using PowerBI, as well as use Alteryx/ETL tools to create new and maintain existing data workflows. 

What you offer

  • Experience in ETL tools (i.e. Alteryx Designer) and Dashboard and report creation software (i.e. Power BI) would be an advantage
  • Experience in SQL
  • Previous experience in technical business analyst or data analyst roles
  • Strong desire to understand the root cause of a problem and find a resolution
  • Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively 
  • A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
