Be a part of our growing Global Risk Surveillance Program. This is an excellent opportunity to support our Americas Head of Risk Surveillance and Global Commodities Surveillance Lead. Engage in meaningful work by conducting surveillance to detect potential market manipulation, misconduct, and misuse of electronic communications.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily surveillance analysis and conducting deep dive investigations of OTC activities. You will act as an escalation point for junior surveillance colleagues and ensure investigations are documented and resolved timely. Additionally, you will collaborate with local Compliance staff to coordinate surveillance levels and lead efforts to identify gaps in the current surveillance program. You will also contribute to the development of surveillance solutions, assist with regulatory requests, conduct trade reconstructions, and perform team quality assurance controls.

What you offer

  • 5-8 years of experience in commodity and energy OTC markets
  • Knowledge of trading systems, data structures, and interfaces
  • High proficiency in data manipulation and analysis
  • Familiarity with FERC and CFTC regulatory actions related to market manipulation
  • Strong communication skills to develop relationships with stakeholders including Compliance staff, Technology, and the business.
