The Green Investments team has a global mandate to invest in both businesses focused on renewables (such as solar, onshore wind, offshore wind, hydro and bioenergy), as well as those focused on emerging energy transition opportunities (such as energy storage, clean transportation, carbon capture and storage, circular economy and renewable fuels).

What role will you play?

As an Executive, you will be responsible for deploying capital into new investments and managing existing ones. You will work with senior investment professionals to pursue potential acquisitions, assist with due diligence and other commercial analysis, and conduct research on potential acquisitions and sector themes. Your responsibilities include building and running detailed financial models for acquisitions and existing investments, developing investment theses and business plans, preparing investment committee papers, raising acquisition debt, and managing external advisors. Additionally, you will develop strategic direction for asset management, monitor financial and operational performance, identify potential improvements, and build relationships with management teams, external advisors, and industry experts.

What you offer

  • Experience within an infrastructure or private equity fund, global funds management, investment banking, or strategy consulting
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Knowledge of the infrastructure, energy, and/or energy transition sectors
  • Degree educated, preferably in a relevant subject, with a thorough understanding of corporate finance, financial accounting, and business reporting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and resilient
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English, with additional European languages viewed favourably (though not required)
  • Sound business judgement and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
