Join our Central Funding Hub - Secured Financing (CFH SF) desk within Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) group and you will have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and global environment. Our team is rapidly growing with a mandate to expand its activities to provide trading capabilities across repo and stock lending products (“SFT”) to meet CGM’s liquidity management needs.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will support the Secured Financing business by managing processes, driving change projects, and coordinating engagements across various stakeholders. You will be expected to work with the front office trading business spread across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Dublin and Gurugram and get broad exposure to all aspects of securities financing transactions globally. You will work closely with the trading desk to proactively solve problems and participate in CGM Central projects to meet requirements.

  • Understanding of financial markets, including repo and stock borrow lending;
  • Knowledge of investment banking processes, trading, risk management, and regulatory requirements;
  • Familiarity with financial products such as equities, bonds, and derivatives;
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills to engage with a wide stakeholder group; and
  • Strong organisational and project management skills;
