Our Macquarie EMEA payroll team works closely with a range of internal stakeholders across Operations, HR, Finance, Operational Risk, and the Business, as well as external payroll vendors, to ensure the smooth running of the payroll process.

As a Payroll Technology Analyst, you will use exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and research skills to support effective payroll processes and resolve stakeholder queries. Furthermore, you will problem solve to identify and deliver improved process and reduce our risk profile. You will be part of a supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives efficient outcomes.

What you offer

• Payroll Experience: Understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, payroll calculations, tax and social security withholding, and benefits administration. Preferable across multiple EMEA countries.
• Compliance Awareness: Good knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations, including basic tax compliance.
• Data Analytics: Proficiency in advanced excel functions, formulas, macros, and data visualisation. Ability to analyse large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• SQL: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying databases and working with large data sets. Familiarity with other data analysis tools such as Python, Alteryx, and other report writing advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, and strong organisation time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
