What role will you play?

Reporting to our Regional Head of People and Culture, with a matrix reporting line to the Global Head of Employment, you will manage a team of direct reports across Asia, with responsibility for the delivery of comprehensive Employee Relations services directly to the business. Your responsibilities will include a broad range of areas including strategic employee relations advice, employment documentation, regional HR policies and processes, restructures, and mergers and acquisitions.

You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement of toolkits and products for our customers and supporting employment-related litigation and employment legal risk management within established governance frameworks, including partnering with our Conduct Risk and Compliance teams in relation to employee conduct data analysis and review. Working closely with the People and Culture Business Partners and local country teams, you will assess and respond to Employee Relations matters and play an important role in driving global and regional employee relations compliance projects for Asia.

What you offer

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (legal qualification is an advantage)
  • Proven experience in employee relations, preferably from the Financial Services industry
  • Practical knowledge of providing Employee Relations advice to a number of different markets in Asia with an ability to show good judgement including balancing commerciality with risk management
  • Strong people leadership skills• A solutions-focused approach, sensitivity and diplomacy
  • An ability to gain and maintain credibility and trust with all levels of employees including senior management.
