In this role, you will conduct in-depth credit reviews and analysis of a global portfolio of FIC counterparties, focusing on financial institutions and corporate clients. You will collaborate with global credit offices to secure credit approvals, evaluate trade structures, and provide recommendations. Additionally, you will assist in streamlining team activities, perform portfolio management, and stay informed of global financial market developments.

Join our Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division within Commodities and Global Markets and you will have an opportunity to work in our inclusive and dynamic environment. Our team acts as the first line of defence within Macquarie’s risk management framework where we assess credit worthiness of counterparties, negotiate credit terms and conduct ongoing monitoring in collaboration with our deal teams.


What you offer

  • 2-4 years of experience in a credit risk department of a global bank or large financial institution.
  • Expertise in preparing counterparty credit reviews, credit recommendations, and negotiating credit terms within ISDA and CSA documentation.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, internal credit rating, loss given default determination, and recommending credit limits.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of counterparties and providing end-to-end credit support to deal teams.
  • High degree of ownership, delivery, and timeliness in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to anticipating issues and a continual improvement mindset.
