Join our Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Controls Assurance team, where you will play a vital role in ensuring effective risk management by reviewing and enhancing automated and IT-dependent controls across our business. This role also leverages data analytics and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness in assurance reviews and control testing.

In this role, you will review compliance within Macquarie’s financial control framework and regulatory requirements while providing insights and fostering awareness among FPE team leads. Collaborating with Risk Management, Technology teams, and auditors, you will drive continuous improvement of the risk management framework and evaluate risks and controls amidst evolving trends and conditions. Additionally, you will analyse technology incidents, ensure swift resolution, share lessons learned, and respond to stakeholder requests, including those from regulators and auditors.
What you offer

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, complemented by CA/MBA/Technology Auditor credentials and over 12 years of post-qualification experience in audit or operational risk, preferably in accounting or financial services
- A strong interest in problem-solving, analysing complex processes, and developing assurance reports and analytics, while building effective stakeholder relationships
- Proven experience engaging with diverse stakeholders across business units, risk divisions, compliance, legal, and support teams
- Exceptional technical and analytical skills, with attention to detail, sound judgement, and a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with an innovative mindset focused on process improvement, efficiency, and value creation
