What role will you play?

Take charge of designing and building a cutting-edge self-service portal for developers, combining Go for backend services and React for the frontend. You'll empower developers to seamlessly deploy and manage containerized applications in the public cloud, all while collaborating with a talented, supportive team.
In addition to driving platform development, you'll mentor and upskill team members, fostering growth in modern technologies and best practices. This is your chance to redefine the developer experience at Macquarie and play a key role in advancing our cloud-native journey.

What you offer

  • Programming experience and expertise in Golang
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks e.g. React
  • Proficiency in developing and managing APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and external services.
  • Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and/or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native development, containerization, and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and modern development workflows.
