You will join our global Privileged Access Management (PAM) team, which is part of the Identity and Cyber Security group within the Technology division. This group prepares for, protects against, and responds to Cyber Security events. We provide and maintain centralised PAM solutions and tools to manage privileged access to Macquarie systems and applications.

What role will you play?

As a PAM SME, you will partner closely with teams across COG Technology to advise, deliver, and guide the adoption of PAM capabilities. You will work to decrease toil through automation, uplift cybersecurity maturity, and drive PAM compliance and control monitoring activities. Additionally, you will support increment planning by contributing to user stories and feature releases, engaging users through showcases and workshops. Your responsibilities will also include creating and maintaining end-user documentation and providing L1 support.

  • Experience in the Identity Security or broader Cyber Security domain.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and relationship management skills to influence and negotiate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-managing, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, good attention to detail, and proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Experience with any of the following is advantageous:
    1. Familiarity with PAM and/or Identity Access Management (IAM) domains and concepts is highly desirable.
    2. Knowledge of Identity Security or Cyber Security products.
    3. Experience with tools such as CyberArk and HashiCorp Vault is advantageous.
