Our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team is responsible for managing Macquarie’s Corporate Data Platform. The businesses we support are highly reliant on the platform for a broad range of use cases including data science, self-service analytics, operational analytics and reporting.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will drive the delivery of critical platform capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes, while fostering collaboration and ensuring platform stability. You will define technical roadmaps, lead architectural decisions, and design, develop, and deploy new capabilities for Macquarie’s Corporate Data Hub Platform. Additionally, you will enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices, championing security, compliance, and risk management across the platform.

What you offer

• 7+ years of enterprise experience as a Cloud/DevOps/Data Engineer, including leadership roles
• Expertise in AWS cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Big Data processing technologies (e.g., Hive, Spark, Starburst Presto)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience in Agile/DevOps environments
• Deep architectural and design pattern experience, with a proven ability to build consensus and drive technical decisions
• A proactive approach to production stability, cost management, and platform improvements
