The Portfolio Management and Strategy team is part of Macquarie Asset Management’s Real Assets division, overseeing portfolio strategy and analysis for Macquarie Asset Management’s private investment vehicles, providing exposure to infrastructure and real assets throughout the Americas. The team oversees the strategic direction and performance of the fund’s investment portfolio companies, ensuring rigorous valuations, effective risk management and alignment with business initiatives.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will regularly report to the Investment and Valuation Committees as well as senior leadership, manage and challenge the valuation process of the funds, assist with financial modeling, analyze portfolio company performance, provide analysis and recommendations related to strategic capital allocation decisions, and manage external valuation reviews. You will also communicate across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including (but not limited to) asset management, finance, client services and investor relations, other regional portfolio and strategy teams and investors. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in valuations and portfolio management, including management of external annual independent valuation reviews and external audit of portfolio valuations. 

The compensation range for this opportunity is a base salary of $130,000 - $170,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience with portfolio management and strategy and valuations
• Proficiency in financial modeling
• Experience in alternative financial services or private equity
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CA/CPA (Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant) qualification preferred
