The Balance Sheet and Statistical Reporting team is a part of the Group Accounting and Reporting within Finance People and Engagement Group. Our function is responsible for ANZ regulatory compliance obligations to different regulators, complying with the Regulatory Reporting Policy and Financial Control Standards along with Operational Risk management.

What role will you play?

You will prepare and review balance sheet and statistical reports for regulators including APRA, RBA, and ABS, covering both EFS and non-EFS reporting. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory frameworks while maintaining documentation to support audits. This includes issue resolution, embedding regulatory changes into business-as-usual processes, and driving process improvements such as automation and system enhancements. Collaborating with internal teams, you will analyse data to support decision-making, review new product approvals from a regulatory perspective, and manage internal compliance obligations. 

What you offer

  • A tertiary degree in Business/Commerce and 2+ years’ work experience in the financial services or investment banking industry
  • Chartered Accounting qualification, or studying towards
  • Previous experience and knowledge of regulatory reporting
  • Knowledge and a passion for data and regulatory reporting in a control environment 
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
