Join our Global Trade Support Services team and directly influence the success of our Equities and Equity Derivatives businesses by supporting critical trading and settlement front-to-back applications.

What role will you play?

Working directly with front office traders and aligned business support groups, you will provide application support for front-to-back systems across equities and equity derivatives products. You will be responsible for the provision of operational technical support across global trading and settlement platforms at Macquarie and further ensure the successful delivery of key technology projects and initiatives.

In addition, you will respond to enquiries and escalations, as well as establish close working partnerships with stakeholders, while co-ordinating a variety of projects in a highly operational and regulated environment.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience working in a trading floor support role with strong technical skills
  • Experience working with a mix of vendor and in-house trading systems and settlement platforms
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server, Unix and SQL (both in a physical and Cloud environment)
  • Experience of front-to-back trading lifecycles across equities and derivatives products
  • Familiar with FIX protocol & Electronic Execution platforms
  • Proactive in identifying problems and implementing solutions with the ability to communicate complex technology terms to business stakeholders, ensuring business outcomes are delivered in a timely manner.
