The Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Finance team is a global function that manages financial reporting, accounting, and balance sheet activities to support strategic decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance. What role will you play?

In this role, you drive data quality and data lineage initiatives across domains by developing and reviewing business and technical rules for critical data elements (CDEs). You will collaborate with data stewards and group data Office teams to document requirements, conduct data profiling, and implement effective business rules. Additionally, you will deliver data-driven regulatory changes and ensure accurate data lineage for CDEs and regulatory reports (APRA, PRA).

What you offer

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data and information management within financial services, with hands-on expertise in data quality, lineage, and critical data element (CDE) identification

• Proficient in data governance tools (preferably Collibra), SQL, and data visualisation platforms such as Power BI or Tableau

• Strong understanding of financial management disciplines in large, complex organisations

• Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, translate abstract requirements, and prioritize effectively

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills, with a proactive and independent work approach
