Join our Risk Management Group, a dynamic, independent team dedicated to safeguarding the organisation by ensuring every risk is thoughtfully assessed and expertly managed. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping and advancing Macquarie’s Operational Risk strategy for our Operating and Central Service Groups, working together to uphold the highest standards of integrity and resilience.

What you offer

- Tertiary degree in Finance or a related discipline, with relevant postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications an advantage
- 5 years’ experience in Risk Management, Operational Risk or Audit, ideally within an international financial institution or professional services firm
- Strong analytical and lateral thinking abilities, with proven problem-solving and consulting skills
- Adept at interpreting complex situations and balancing commercial considerations within a risk framework
- Solid understanding of the regulatory environment relevant to Macquarie’s operations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and gain trust and buy-in from management
- Resilient and adaptable, with a track record of maintaining a high performance within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
